Administrative Director, Pediatrics - Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics - Kansas City

Principal Duties: As the Administrative Director, Pediatrics, you will be responsible for assuring high quality, safe, cost-efficient and timely support services are delivered to meet faculty and other professional's needs. This includes providing direction, managing resources and continuously improving the non-clinical services while collaborating with the clinical services to support the faculty academic programs provided by the Department of Pediatrics.

Successful Candidates Will Have: Experience managing a multi-specialty practice, pediatric practice preferred, xperience as a liaison between services and administration and other hospital departments, experience managing budgeting process and reports, experience assisting with facilitating contracts, excellent organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, ability, to juggle many tasks at once, including long term and short term ones, completing these in a timely manner, ability to foster a diverse, positively reinforcing, and collaborative work environment, ability to inspire team effort and effectiveness.

Job Requirements: Masters degree required in professional discipline, MBA or MHA, seven or more years experience in middle or upper management, current professional license in clinical discipline if applicable, PC Skills required.
