Jill Ackerman started her career in hospital management at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1994 and has been the Manager of Clinical Operations in the Department of Pediatrics for 14 years.  Her responsibilities in this role include operational oversight of inpatient and ambulatory services, facilities management, and non-clinical support staff and programming.  Jill has filled leadership roles on many departmental and institutional projects and has recently broadened her leadership expertise completing coursework in team dynamics, group facilitation and coaching techniques for managers.

 Jill received her undergraduate degree in Health Administration from the University of Scranton and Masters in Business Administration from The Lubin School at Pace University in New York City.  She has been an active member of AAAP since 2005 and is currently serving  as Membership Director of the organization.

Jill lives in Manhattan and enjoys running in Central Park in her spare time. She ran the past five NYC marathons in support of Fred’s Team, raising thousands of dollars for pediatric cancer research at MSKCC.
